An evening with Aberlour Single Malt at MAP Petite Maison Join us for a whisky tasting with Aberlour Single Malt Scotch Whisky, where the brand ambassador will take you through an intriguing tasting of some of Aberlour's most beloved whiskies. Aberlour Distillery in the heart of Speyside, a distillery strongly associated with sherry cask maturation with many fans among the world’s Single Malt enthusiasts. Founded in 1879 and located in a small valley next to the Lour Burn, the small stream that runs past the distillery before joining the Spey River a few hundred meters away. During this tasting you will receive a great in depth look at Aberlour and their whisky making tradition, the Scottish Single Malt category and the Speyside whisky region. We will talk about the origin as well as a wide range of topics ranging from cask types for maturation, different bottling strengths, the style of the new make spirit to the past and present of the Speyside tradition. Olof will answer any whisky queries you might have, provide you with some helpful whisky tips and personal travel recommendations. Olof Noreus has many years working in the industry as a Senior Whisky Brand Ambassador with Pernod Ricard Sweden. Olof has hosted well over a thousand tastings and education sessions around Sweden over the past decade as an appreciated whisky presenter visiting whisky clubs, whisky fairs, hosting events and carrying out staff educations in bars- and restaurants.

Cocktail Making Masterclass with Tapas

Come and learn about cocktails from our highly experienced mixologists. Upon arrival you will receive a signature cocktail made by them. They will teach you about cocktail making and then you will be invited behind the bar to make one of your own. After that you will be seated at your table to enjoy tapas with another cocktail of your choice from our select masterclass cocktail menu. You can now select to upgrade your experience to include our signature Tapas Style Afternoon Tea following your cocktail masterclass. This can be selected in the next step of the booking process. Please note that the Afternoon Tea upgrade must be selected by the whole party. This is a masterclass that takes you through the journey of all things Japanese whisky! Guests will hear about whisky production, its history and experience cocktail making together with our mixologists. Upon arrival for your masterclass you will receive a complementary signature cocktail with a small tapas plate. The session will begin with a history of whisky and the production of three different Japanese whiskies. You will use all your taste buds while learning about these whiskies.
